Small Press Podcast: Fine Press Poetry

Andrew Moorhouse, founder, and editor of independent publisher Fine Press Poetry gives a compelling account of how he set up his press after suffering a serious health scare. Starting his press in later life and with no knowledge or background of the publishing industry, Andrew explores his book collecting, his drive to create illustrated poetry books, that are ‘beautiful above all things’, and his relationship with some of the country’s most renowned poets and wood engravers. He also talks about his love of the writer John Updike and what he is reading during lockdown.
